Last week Oceana debuted an outdoor Lobster Roll 
stand, selling a Maine-style Lobster Roll, smooshed cookies, assorted soft drinks and chips. Summertime is the perfect time for a lobster roll offering and so far they’ve been a big hit! Some folks opt to grab a bunch and bring back to the office, while some choose to sit it the Park and enjoy in the open air. There are tables and chairs in the Park where you can enjoy the sound of the nearby waterfall.
The stand opens at 11:30 am Monday to Friday and remains open until sold out. Chef Pollinger believes in allowing the sweet lobster meat to speak for itself, it is tossed simply with celery and a dash of lobster mayonnaise and tucked into a griddled hot dog roll. Chef Jansen's “smooshed” cookie is two doughs pressed together and baked, oatmeal raisin and double chocolate chip. Chef Jansen will rotate cookie recipes through the summer.

The stand is located at the western end of Oceana’s space on 49th street, we are tucked into the Park that runs between 48th and 49th street, between 6th and 7th avenues.
